Terms of Service - Studio Policies for Luna Shiny Services

By booking an appointment or utilizing any services provided by Luna Shiny Services (referred to hereafter as "we," "us," or "the Studio"), you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions.

1. Appointment and Booking Policies

1.1 Booking Deposit

All new full sets and select major services (e.g., Lash Lift and Tint) require a non-refundable deposit of CAD at the time of booking to secure your appointment. This deposit is credited toward the total cost of your service.

1.2 Cancellation / Rescheduling

We require a minimum of 24 hours' notice for any cancellation or rescheduling of your appointment.

Less than 24 hours' notice: You will forfeit your booking deposit. For existing clients, a fee equivalent to 50% of the scheduled service cost may be charged.

No-Shows: Failure to attend your appointment without prior notice will result in a charge equivalent to 100% of the scheduled service cost. Future bookings will require full prepayment.

1.3 Late Arrivals

Please arrive on time. We operate on a strict schedule to ensure quality service for all clients.

If you are 15 minutes late or more, your appointment may be considered a cancellation (No-Show), and the relevant fee will be applied.

We will do our best to accommodate late arrivals, but the service time will be reduced to ensure the next client is not delayed. You will still be responsible for the full price of the original service booked.

2. Lash Extension Policies

2.1 Fills (Refills)

To qualify as a "Fill" appointment, you must have at least 40% of your extensions remaining on each eye.

If you arrive with less than 40% retention, your appointment will be subject to an extended fill charge or may be converted to a Full Set, and additional time/charges will apply.

We recommend scheduling fills every 2-3 weeks.

2.2 Foreign Fills

We generally do not fill work done by other salons (Foreign Fills) due to variations in product and technique.

If you currently have extensions from another salon, we require you to book a Lash Removal followed by a New Full Set to ensure the highest quality and safety.

2.3 Guarantee / Adjustments

We strive for perfection. If you experience excessive premature shedding (more than 50% loss) within 72 hours (3 days) of your appointment, please contact us immediately.

We will schedule a complimentary fix/adjustment session, provided proper aftercare instructions were followed.

After the 72-hour window, any necessary adjustments will be charged as a Mini Fill.

3. General Service and Safety Policies

3.1 Hygiene and Safety

To ensure the best adhesion and hygiene:

Please arrive with your lashes thoroughly cleaned (free of makeup, mascara, and oils). Failure to do so may result in a mandatory Lash Bath charge and/or reduced lashing time.

We ask that you refrain from bringing small children or extra guests to your appointment as the service requires focused attention and a quiet environment.

3.2 Product Use

All retail product sales are final. We do not offer refunds or exchanges on aftercare products.

4. Payment Terms

We accept the following forms of payment: Cash, Debit, and major Credit Cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex). Prices are subject to GST/PST as required by Canadian law.

5. Right to Refuse Service

Luna Shiny Services reserves the right to refuse service to any client for reasons deemed necessary, including but not limited to: contagious infections, health concerns, repeated no-shows, or disrespectful behaviour toward staff.
